Visit from Justin the Lifeguard in P2

Primary Two have been learning about Pool Safety this week. We have learned to recognise the safety signs we may find around the poolside and also designing their own signs. We are now able to recognise the various dangers in and around the pool and the steps we should take if we should fall into danger.

Our week was concluded with a fantastic visit from a local lifeguard, Justin. He was able to share with us his experiences of being a lifeguard and answer any queries we had!! Thank you Justin!!

P2 Have Been Busy Preparing For Easter!

P2 had a visit from Fluffy the rabbit this week!  Fluffy enjoyed being in P2 but decided the work was too hard so had to go home!  Thank you to one of our P2 Parents for bringing Fluffy in for a visit!

This week Primary 2 Mrs Munce’s class have also been busy making Easter biscuits.  We choose a shape (cross, chick or easter egg) and we cut out our biscuits before decorating them…yum! Take a look through our gallery to see how busy we have been:

P2 Have Been Focusing On The Easter Story

Primary Two have been focusing on the Easter story this week. They learned the message of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet. He told us ‘As I have washed your feet, you must wash each other’s feet’ ……. so that is what we did and had so much fun!! J
We learned how to love one another and serve each other through simple acts of kindness.

P2 Enjoy A Spring Walk

Primary 2 were looking out for the signs of Spring as we walked around the school grounds on Wednesday.  After the fog had lifted in the morning, we had a beautiful day and spotted snow drops, crocuses, daffodils, new green shoots, some buds on the trees and even a baby frog in the playground!

Primary 2 Get Spoilt With Red Nose Cake & Buns

Primary 2 would like to pass on a huge thank you to Mrs McKinty for the delicious cakes and buns she provided for Primary 2 today.  Everyone got to see the cake and Mr McCambley was given a special invitation to taste the cake and buns.
